This week, Lucid Motors has begun advertising the launch of the Lucid Gravity, an electric SUV that emphasizes luxury and performance. Interim CEO Marc Winterhoff mentioned a significant event scheduled for the end of the first quarter during the Q4 earnings call.
There is going to be a private event scheduled for Thursday, March 27th, from 7 to 8:30 PM, with an after-party afterward. From March 28th to 30th, there will be activities at the Lucid Studio throughout the weekend.
At the begining of the week we started to see the billboards in Times Square illunminated with advertistments of the highly anticipated Lucid Gravity. Times square averages nearly 300,000 people walking through their daily and captures global audiences on social media.
Lucid partnered with several influencers on Instagram who showcased videos of spaceships arriving and flying in the sky, delivering an out-of-this-world electric vehicle: the Lucid Gravity!
Today, pictures have emerged showing the setup in New York City at the Lucid studio. In these images, we see the Lucid Gravity in a unique chrome finish—something that has never been seen before. Additionally, on the rooftop, there appears to be what looks like a spaceship!
This has been quite a week of buildup regarding the event where Lucid is saying we will Encounter Extraordinary.
The biggest question on everyone’s mind is: what exactly is this event all about? I’ve got a few intriguing speculations that might shed some light on the mystery! Let’s dive in.
- US release of the Lucid Gravity Touring – Following the recent release of the Gravity Touring in Saudi Arabia this would be a logical timeframe.
- US release of the Lucid Gravity Dream Edition – Previously announced in late February, the Dream Edition features 1,070 HP, 115 cubic feet of storage, 7 seats, and a range of 370 miles and under 140k
- First deliveries to customers of the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring
All of these possibilities are intriguing. I’m particularly fascinated by their involvement with UFOs and the hints at the extraordinary.
