Yesterday, Lucid Motors’ interim CEO, Marc Winterhoff, had his first interview since assuming the role. He appeared on “Fox and Friends” with Liz Claman from “The Claman Countdown.” During their discussion, they focused on the 2026 Lucid Gravity Grand Touring, exploring its features and recent developments regarding the Lucid Gravity.

The first topic of discussion among these two was regarding recent tariffs and their impacts on the greater auto industry. They noted that automakers are expecting an increase in the cost of goods and overall production of their vehicles. The conversation highlighted that Lucid vehicles are proudly manufactured in the United States. The company produces its own drivetrain and battery packs in-house. They are also collaborating with suppliers to relocate cell production to the United States. Additionally, they mentioned securing two recent deals for graphite to support an North American based supply chain.

In reference to Lucid Gravity, interim CEO Marc Winterhoff noted that more than 75% of current orders are from new customers who do not currently own a Lucid product. He also mentioned that over 50% of Gravity reservations are from existing Tesla owners. In the past two months, due to recent political developments, there has been a significant increase in reservations for Lucid Gravity from existing Tesla owners.

In case you missed yesterday’s video, interim CEO Marc Winterhoff announced that Lucid Gravity vehicles will be available in Showroom studios by the end of April. Media reviews are expected to start coming out in mid-April, and customer deliveries will resume at the end of the month.
